Chelsea Funari is a postdoctoral researcher at the Florida Center for Reading Research. Her research focuses on specific features of typical teacher practice embedded within the broader classroom climate, contributions of support staff and teachers’ own characteristics to teacher practice, and connecting classroom climate and teacher practice to student outcomes. Overall, she is interested in enhancing teacher practice through factors inside and outside of the classroom such as classroom climate and instruction, as well as building connections between research, schools, and staff involved in students’ education.
